Martin Luther King, Jr., she said that “‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.’” Gallagher's wife, Andrea Gallagher, critiqued the military justice system in a November 2019 interview with Nine Line Apparel, one of the clothing companies involved with the Salty Frog line. Since then, Gallagher has appeared on Fox News and met with the president at Trump’s Mar-a-lago Resort. But since he had already been confined for more than four months ahead of his trial, he was instead released and demoted - until Trump intervened in one of three high-profile war-crimes cases Trump got involved in last year. Gallagher was sentenced to the maximum penalty for the photo: four months' imprisonment. Navy Commander Jeff Pietrzyk, who was part of the prosecution in the case, said in closing statements at trial that Gallagher had sent text messages implying that he had killed the teen with a knife.
